History
The name BEM NO TOM came about in 2016 when I, Joyce, started a wedding music and consultancy company in Belo Horizonte. I have a degree in Applied Mathematics, but after taking a gap year I decided to take a risk with this new venture. The differential of Bem no Tom - Ceremonial and Music and, therefore, the name is that I was 100% dedicated to helping the bride and groom organize an authentic wedding, their face, that is "right in tune"._cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
Rodrigo, my husband, was at the time a violinist with the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra. And he was responsible for hiring the musicians and creating personalized musical arrangements for each couple. Here again, we value the authenticity of each event, considering each one as unique!
In March 2020 we moved to Foz do Iguaçu and, as you know, the Covid-19 pandemic also started in that same month. Canceled events! And now?
Some well-known people started looking for Rodrigo to take violin lessons. Creating a school was never in our plans, but soon one was recommending it to the other and demand for new instruments began to emerge.
Currently, in July 2022, we offer lessons for six different 'instruments' in addition to singing lessons and music theory.
Unlike Bem no Tom - Ceremonial and Music, a Bem no Tom - Escola de Música On-line is musically directed by Rodrigo who, with his education and specialization, handpicks each teacher who will compose the our team. Meanwhile, Joyce, I take care of all the administrative part.
Something we learned in this pandemic is that we both work very well together, modesty aside, but the result of all this work you have already seen or will see in our students.
More than 300 students have already passed through our school, either in private courses or in a group, and we try to treat each one of them in a personalized way, trying to meet their needs.
The idea from now on is to always seek to innovate and increase our offers and, therefore, you are reading this here. It's been more than 2 years thinking about making a website, but now it's real!
